About

Jupeth Toriano Pentang is an Associate Professor at Central Luzon State University. He handles mathematics and professional education courses and serves as the managing editor of Education Digest, the academic research journal of the CLSU College of Education. He provides technical assistance in research writing and publication for DepEd teachers and graduate students. Additionally, he serves as a peer reviewer and associate editor for indexed journals. His commitment to personal growth and professional development brought him significant accomplishments. He has several research publications in peer-reviewed and indexed (Scopus and Web of Science) journals, earning him rank 1 in the AD Scientific Index for Science and Mathematics Education in the Philippines. He also presented papers at national and international conferences. In 2021, he was conferred an honorary doctorate in humanities for his community work, and in 2022 and 2023, he was recognized as an outstanding reviewer for his contributions to journal publications. A product of DOST-SEI, his advocacy is geared towards improving the quality of mathematics education and empowering educators to be active researchers.
